Our traditional education today focuses on cramming of answers and reproducing them on paper which kills the vital aspect of talent based learning. It also cripples innovation and creativity. This hinders resilience and productivity of our societies both economically, and socially.
Most of the local people or even the presumed to be "elites" do not know what they ought to contribute for the smooth operations of government, what government ought to offer them and how to create a fair balance. This results into abuse of office by the public officials because the majority of the population does not ask for accountability in case the government deliberately messes up the governance for one reason or the other. It also affects rule of law, democracy, and participatory citizenry towards building a resilient nation.
Due to the fact that nothing is taught about money in school, students graduate from college with hardly a y knowledge about financial management and entrepreneurship yet real life living is all about managing resources at leverage. The end result is most of the people spend the rest of their life in debts, not having enough money or even begging for bread.
Corruption breaks acounrty in all aspects right from crumbling the government organs to loss of public trust and confidence in the government. This is dangerous for it creates a hopeless desperate community which culminates into indefference, inequality and violence
Most of the people especially the youth have brilliant ideas but lack the audacity to start or even the tenacity to hold on till the desirable goal is achieved through creativity, innovation and hard work. This fear keeps them mediocres lamenting about un fulfilment
